Organizational mistreatment is any harmful situation created or tolerated by the procedures of organizations (private, public, community-based) responsible for providing care or services of any kind, which compromises the exercise of individuals\u2019 rights and freedoms. The tools are designed to counter organizational mistreatment perpetrated against residents in Quebec residential care facilities.
