Me Geneviève Pépin is a graduate in Geography (1995) and Law from Laval University (1998). She was admitted to the Bar of Quebec in 1999. She also earned a Masters Degree in Law and Health Policy from the University of Sherbrooke, titles she has had since 2008. Me Pépin was a research assistant at the Superior Court of Quebec from 1997 to 1998, an advisor with the Junior Bar of Quebec from 2000 to 2002, the secretary of the Junior Bar of Quebec for 2002-2003 financial year and a member of various Bar of Quebec committees. Me Pépin joined the firm of Ménard Martin in 2003. Her main area of practice is medical, hospital and dental liability and is involved in defending our society’s most vulnerable individuals. She is committed to enforcing and promoting their rights. Her mandate is also to improve the quality and safety of care dispensed in our health system. She serves as a speaker in various areas dealing with medical liability. Me Pépin also took part in the Life Channel series Medical Mistakes. She is the co-prosecutor in the class action brought by Handicap-Vie-Dignité et al. against the Résidence Saint-Charles-Borromée (reference: Montreal Court House, Superior Court, File No. 500-06-000058-988).
